We were one of the first in the world to admire Tamiya's new Volvo FH16 recovery vehicle in Nuremberg at the Spielwarenmesse.
The model comes in an 8x4 setup with a double steering axle. And has all the details that a real model has as well.
A very beautiful and impressive model which will provide many hours of building fun.
The most powerful in its class!
With 4 axles, powerful Mighty Tuned Truck engine (35T) and steerable double front axle, the Volvo FH16 is the ideal truck recovery vehicle.
With RC preparation!
The crane is powered by an optionally available ACU unit (56553). Moves the crane up and down.
The Tamiya MFC-03 (56523) is recommended for the drive, lighting and sound.
Due to the enormous length of the model, only the series MFC LEDs have to be replaced here with the special longer cable (56549 to 56551).
Precisely photo-etched parts; such as radiator grille, turnbuckles with chains for securing the load and the beautiful designed interior make this recovery vehicle an absolute eye-catcher.
The model has an impressive length of more than 70 cm and is driven via both rear axles.
The FH16 is the very first Tamiya model truck, where the cabin is bolted down. This allows the MFC to be built in behind the seats and the interior is fully visible.
