Containers are used for shipping products and raw materials worldwide, and ISO containers, designed according to ISO specifications, are the most common for international shipping. Among ISO containers, there are 3 main variants: 20ft. (6.096m) container, 40ft. (12.192m) container (with regular height: 8'6" = 2.591m), and 40ft. high-cube containers (height: 9'6" = 2.896m).

Tamiya is proud to announce the release of this new semi-trailer with a 40ft container. This container trailer can be used with any Tamiya 1/14 scale tractor.

Container details:

• The container features the same gray color scheme as that of the Maersk shipping company.
• Length: 917mm, Width: 188mm, Height: 300mm.
• The container's side, top, and front panels display distinct panel patterns accurately reproduced.
• The model incorporates the same twist-lock system as the actual container (connecting and disconnecting from the trailer).
• The 3-axle trailer, designed for loading a 40ft. or two 20ft. containers, is commonly seen in Europe and authentically represented, providing a significant scale presence.
