The U4 racer has the same look and comparable handling as its real-world counterpart, thanks to KMC Machete wheels and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires.

Spektrum SMART Brushless Power System

The Hammer Rey comes equipped with a powerful Spektrum 3150Kv brushless motor, 130A ESC, and a 6-channel AVC/telemetry receiver that provides Smart feedback, including live battery voltage. This potent combination can handle up to 3S LiPo batteries and allows you to reach speeds of over 40 mph across various terrains.

Robust and Agile

The steering servo mount and steering bell cranks have been redesigned for added strength, and the rear suspension of the Hammer Rey allows it to absorb massive bumps and jumps with the same realistic handling as a full-scale U4 off-road racer. The rear axle housing includes an updated element that uses larger-diameter pinion bearings and an updated upper rear link mount for added durability. The carefully engineered front independent suspension allows the Hammer Rey to confidently rip across various terrains. Full independent suspension allows each side to react independently, providing more control and precise steering and handling. The long-travel shocks do an excellent job of absorbing the energy from big bumps and jumps, and they feature adjustable collars to fine-tune the coil-over spring preload. Additionally, the longer wheelbase enhances performance and stability at high speeds.

Waterproof Electronics

The Hammer Rey is loaded with waterproof electronics, including the receiver, servo, and ESC. Everything is sealed against the elements, allowing you to drive through rain, mud, and snow with complete freedom, regardless of the weather conditions.

LED Light Bars and Headlights

The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down with the Hammer Rey. The bright LED lights on the integrated light bars provide more than enough illumination for night-time driving. Moreover, the LEDs consume minimal battery power, allowing you to stay out all night!

Sealed Transmission and Differentials

The single-speed transmission, as well as the front and center differentials, are sealed against the elements and engineered with metal gears to handle the demands of a high-output brushless motor and challenging terrain. The adjustability of the three differentials allows drivers to fine-tune their Hammer Rey to handle any track conditions.

Rear-Loading Battery Compartment

The innovative rear-loading battery feature makes it quick and easy to replace the battery without the inconvenience of removing the body.

Full-Throttle Freedom with AVC Technology

The receiver's built-in AVC (Active Vehicle Control) traction control system works behind the scenes, making hundreds of throttle and steering adjustments per second. This ensures that more of the motor's power is converted into speed and acceleration rather than just kicking up dirt. The patented AVC system delivers a level of performance that can't be matched by any other vehicle from any manufacturer except Horizon Hobby. Like traction control in your full-scale vehicle, you can activate or deactivate the system on the fly and adjust the stability level based on driving conditions.
