Wetronic has been a market leader for years in the field of radio-controlled model trucks and is among the largest model-building stores in the Netherlands.

From the community, we see an increasing demand for a unique location where both young and old can practice and enjoy the model-building hobby. To meet this demand, we have conceived a unique and challenging concept: The Wetronic Experience Center!


The Largest Model-Building Experience Center in Europe!

The Wetronic Experience Center will be the largest of its kind in Europe. A unique location where both young and old can take their model-building hobby to the “next level.” By adding a store alongside various spectacular race tracks, a truckers’ lane, makerspace, workshops, and catering, we are creating a comprehensive concept for the model-building community.

Not only can the avid model maker use our facilities, but also people who are completely new to our hobby and are looking for a new challenge. Because access is easy, the Experience Center is also for people who come for an attractive day out with the whole family. This way, we can offer a much larger experience and awareness of radio-controlled model building.


A Unique Experience Next to the A2!

Due to the high demand for a centrally located place where people can come together to bring their hobby to life, we’re not just choosing any location. We are going to create an entirely new location right along the A2 near Beesd. This ensures not only excellent accessibility for everyone but also allows us to strive for the very best! By aiming for near-total energy neutrality, we are not only being energy-conscious but also saving on many fixed costs.

Combining our concept with this unique location where accessibility, recognizability, and location are central, results in a very powerful mix!

Preparations are already in full swing, but we can only realize this plan with your support!

By opting for completely new construction at our location in Beesd, we can keep costs low. However, realizing such a large project requires good planning. More importantly, it starts with the support of our community, and therefore your support! Because only together with you can we realize this grand plan. Fortunately, we have a large loyal community around us that we can rely on, and we have previously proven that together we can achieve almost anything! In 2022, our first concept of the experience center amazed friends and foes alike with how much we achieved in a small world, showing the strength of model building!

Currently, we are fully engaged with the final preparations for the project, including the environmental permit and financing for the entire project. If everything goes according to plan, we will open at our new location in Beesd by the end of 2025. So, what are you waiting for? Starting in 2025, we will begin building the Wetronic Experience Center at one of the most beautiful locations in the Netherlands. We are doing this for you but preferably together with you. By participating, you help to realize this unique concept. In return, you will of course get something back.
