Rediscover the glory of the 1950s with the Büssing 8000 S 13, one of the most iconic and impressive trucks of its era. With its long engine hood, distinctive four-stroke diesel engine sound, and a 6-cylinder engine producing 180 hp, this truck is a testament to vintage engineering. The "S" stands for the standing engine, and "13" signifies its 13-liter displacement.
More than 20 years ago, we brought this remarkable model to life in collaboration with Conrad Electronic, but it was discontinued after a few years. Due to unwavering demand, we are thrilled to reintroduce this classic for our anniversary. We’ve crafted new injection molds for the body and add-on parts, reinforced the platform, and added a real wood floor. The interior has been meticulously updated with pedals, a gear stick, and a hand brake lever, ensuring an authentic and detailed replica.
lights can be optionally upgraded with a lighting kit (item no. 251002). The drive set (item no. 251001) includes an underfloor motor from Servonaut, which transfers power to the rear axle via a stainless steel cardan shaft with length compensation. This provides the model with sufficient power and precise control for maneuvering with the matching 2-axle trailer (item no. 251003), which can also be optionally equipped with a lighting set (item no. 251004). Up until the early 50s, it was even permissible to tow two of these trailers, posing a real challenge for road captains
