The Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer (UDR) now comes standard with pre-installed LED lighting, so you can still fully enjoy your new RC car at dusk!
With its realistic look and inspiration from the real short course race trucks, the Traxxas UDR is at an unprecedented level, just like its big brothers, this car loves large sand plains where it can make long jumps and drift in the loose sand. Of course you can also drive it on the street, but then you will soon notice that the UDR feels less at home there. Its unique drivetrain with extremely long suspension travel provides unprecedented stability in the dirt that no other RC car comes close to, but as soon as you take to the streets with this extreme suspension travel, the UDR quickly has the inclination to roll in the corners.
These are properties that fit perfectly with this car because its big brothers also have exactly the same properties. You shouldn't grab this car with a velvet glove, but throw it really drifting into the corner, that's what it loves!
Waterproof electronics and unprecedented driving stability
The Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer already has an unprecedented stability on the unpaved from its chassis design, but if it still gets a bit crazy, you can use the Traxxas TSM system which provides even more stability. Even a real mud puddle does not deter this car, its electronics are waterproof so that even deep puddles are no problem at all and in the snow its driving style really comes into its own while drifting and hanging in the bend, the UDR clearly shows who is boss on slippery surfaces!
Sturdy roll cage construction
If things go wrong and you lose control, the car is equipped with a sturdy roll cage that ensures that the chassis of the car and the drivers remain protected during even the biggest impacts. Of course you can also customize the car to your own liking with the many after market accessories that are available from both Traxxas itself and various other brands. The UDR is a very popular car with a large fan base, so there are many upgrades available for this model.
