The Traxxas Stampede 2WD HD VX3 Brushless is designed for a variety of surfaces including grass, dirt, gravel and pavement. Large 2.8-inch wheels, long suspension travel and generous ground clearance make it suitable for different driving conditions. This version features a redesigned chassis with integrated shock towers, reinforced bulkheads and a clipless body mounting system. The body can be removed and installed quickly without body clips. Power comes from a Velineon V3200 brushless motor paired with the VX3 brushless ESC. The system supports both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. Speeds of over 35 mph are possible with a 2S LiPo, while a 3S LiPo can deliver speeds exceeding 50 mph without changing the stock gearing. The updated suspension uses double wishbones, HD suspension arms and Composite GTR shocks with threaded preload adjustment. The Magnum 272 transmission features metal gears, a Torque-Control slipper clutch and a planetary differential with a steel ring gear. Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) helps maintain control on low-traction surfaces and can be adjusted or disabled directly from the transmitter.
