Built for speed and handling!

The XRT is engineered to be ready for the toughest conditions, but to handle them at high speed. Due to the low center of gravity setup and wider arms, the Traxxas XRT is built to beat nearly all other big scale RC cars in straight-line speed. It features the proven strong, full-metal drive train that has been in use in the Traxxas X-MAXX for years but combines this with a LOW-CG chassis. Topping it off with the all-new GRAVIX race tires, this is a beast of a fast RC car.

TSM technology to the rescue!

With Traxxas TSM Technology you can keep this beast under control. TSM stabilizes the vehicle when necessary, so you maintain control. You can adjust the amount of assistance directly from the transmitter, so you can put it in insane mode without any help from TSM, or you can tame the car a little bit towards beginner mode to first get to know the capabilities of the vehicle.

Modular chassis

Easy to maintain, just split the chassis and quickly access nearly all parts of the drive train.

Motor cooling at its best!

Not only is the motor mount one of the easiest to use with the pin design, so no more hassle with gear tuning, just mount the motor in the right position. The twin motor coolers will keep your engine at low temperatures for ultimate performance.

Snap Lock battery holders

Just like its brother the X-MAXX, the XRT has snap-lock battery holders no fuss with velcro or other clip systems. Simply place your batteries in the tray, and with a push on the holder, your battery is locked in place securely. The battery holders accept various sizes of batteries, but we usually recommend the original 6700mAh batteries because they fit perfectly.

Waterproof high-quality electronics

With great power comes great responsibility; the car has a lot of power but can handle wet conditions perfectly. The electronics are waterproof and get more than adequate cooling through the cooling channels of the body and chassis.

Rugged like no other!

The Traxxas XRT features some of the best skidplates of all. With skidplates from front to back you don't need to worry about damaging the chassis itself. The skidplates are not only present on the underside of your car. The roof is also protected with multiple skidplates for extra durability.
