The Tamiya TT-02 BMW M4 GT3 EVO is an on-road racer based on the well-known TT-02 chassis. You build a 2025 WEC LMGT3-style racer with a Lexan body, slicks, and an included Torque Tuned 540 motor and ESC, ready to paint and finish yourself.

Overview

The TT-02 is a proven base for 4WD on-road racing: straightforward to build, easy to maintain and widely adaptable. In this version, Tamiya pairs the chassis with a new BMW M4 GT3 EVO body, based on the LMGT3 cars raced in the 2025 World Endurance Championship (WEC) by both factory and customer teams.

The unpainted 1 mm Lexan body comes with separately molded parts such as the rear wing, mirrors and wing stays. The kit is also prepared for a smoother build: the wheel arches are pre-cut and the body mount holes are pre-drilled, which speeds up assembly and finishing.

The TT-02 chassis uses a shaft-driven 4WD system with a longitudinal layout (battery on the left, motor on the right) for stable handling. With the various wheelbase, ride height, tread width and gear ratio options, you can fine-tune the setup later on. The kit includes a 540-type Torque Tuned motor and an ESC; you still need to choose your own radio system, steering servo and battery/charger. For the body finish, use Tamiya PS paint and the included masking stickers.

Please note: the included decal set for the original race livery is fairly complex to apply and takes a steady hand.
