The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR car clinched six victories and dominated the 1997 FIA GT Championship. Although it inherited the 2-door coupe form and the front section of the standard dealership model, this race car was, in fact, quite different. It featured a carbon monocoque frame with a roll cage, a rear-mounted 6-liter V12 engine delivering over 600 horsepower, and a 6-speed sequential gearbox. Its double wishbone suspension had pull-rods both in the front and rear. In 1997, this car secured both the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships.

This robust composite monocoque chassis provides central shaft-driven 4WD, with power from a mid-mounted motor distributed via front and rear propeller shafts and equipped with oil-filled differentials.
The independent double wishbone suspension on all corners utilizes adjustable long arms, fitted with oil dampers activated by push rods and rocker arms.
Easily adjust camber and toe-in settings using spacers and shims, with identical suspension arms and uprights on the left and right, both front and rear, for more efficient pit work.
The rear transverse battery position is also compatible with 139x47x25mm square battery packs.
