The Ford Focus RS was introduced in 1998 as a high-performance rally-oriented car. In 2006, Ford's Chief Engineer, Christian Loriaux, optimized the car by making adjustments to the seating position, roll cage, suspension, aerodynamics, and engine. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine delivers 300 hp and 550 Nm of torque. During seven years of factory participation, Ford won four constructor titles with the RS. TAMIYA presents this model in the Custom version, as a street version without sponsors.

TT-02 Platform

The 1:10 scale TAMIYA model uses the proven TT-02 chassis, allowing for easy adjustments of wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratio. With numerous optional tuning parts, the chassis can quickly be transformed into a race car. The 4WD drive system with a central driveshaft, double wishbone suspension, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures realistic driving characteristics and excellent traction. The underside of the chassis is exceptionally smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates common battery types. An eye-catching feature is the wheel hubs with attached brake disc replicas. The included body is pre-painted.
