Thor 15HF ESC with Brake Version

For the first time these THOR controllers are equipped with a brake so that a vehicle does not roll uncontrolled downhill on a slope.
Another special feature is the high clock speed of 18 KHz. This achieves a more sensitive control and the whistling in the motor is no longer audible.

A self-learning LiPo undervoltage detection lowers the motor speed at 9 volts or 6 V.

The receiver and a small servo can be supplied with the integrated BEC power supply.

This BEC voltage is short-circuit proof and temperature resistant.

But watch out:
this means that if the temperature is too high, this voltage will switch off and the receiver would be temporarily dead! Therefore, perform extensive tests or use an external BEC, for example an X-BEC.

When switched on, the THOR15HF detects whether a 2-cell or 3-cell LiPo battery is connected. Accordingly, the control limit is set to 6 volts or 9 volts. If the battery voltage falls below this limit, only 1/4 of the target speed is passed to the motor, that is, a significant reduction in the speed that everyone will notice and drive "home" at this lower speed.

Of course, the controller can also be used with NiMh or lead batteries.

Control range: The zero point is fixed at a pulse width of 1.5 ms and thus corresponds exactly to the common RC systems of today.
Before and after, i.e. stick forward / backward, the motor continuously rotates forward / backward, each time up to the maximum speed.

Note: the range of the RC system should be checked before the first ride.
If the controller is defective, the motor can start even when the receiver is turned off!
